The Grow to Share Project

Grow to Share was organized with three objectives in mind. First and foremost is to assist those in need by supplying food pantries & shelters in western Wisconsin with healthy food at no cost. Grow to Share gardens provide fresh produce that adds needed nutrition and variety to the diet of their clients.

Secondly, Grow to Share strives to promote sustainable agriculture by providing a working example of local food production that utilizes environmentally sound practices. By showcasing sustainable methods in a highly visible public environment, it can be demonstrated that anyone can produce their own food with little effort or impact.

The third goal is to strengthen community relationships by providing a place for fellowship and educational opportunities. A Grow to Share garden offers a friendly environment where individuals from all corners of the community can work together in a common cause. They are places where people have the opportunity to expand upon their personal skill set while building new relationships.
